Target Focus
Let's not mince words. We live in a dangerous world, and with that in mind the purpose of defensive firearms training is to save lives. If the worst day happens and your life or that of others is threatened—bottom line—you must win the gunfight.
Our cadre of Instructors come from Law Enforcement, Military, Competition and the Private Sector. Our aim is knowledge transfer—there are no hidden secrets—we want to share with our students the proven principles of what we've learned.
The Fundamentals: Working your Weapon System
If you've watched John Wayne or John Wick and own a gun, you might believe you can do what you've seen on screen! No shame! That's just how God made us—it's why protectors are willing to go to war when called upon to defend their family or country. With that in mind, our Dry-Fire Tactical Handgun I & II courses will teach you how to run your weapon system as if your life depended on it. We teach the what—and more importantly—the why,. The repetitions with one-on-one feedback will increase your confidence to run your gun efficiently. This intro course includes safety rules, nomenclature, fundamentals of marksmanship, gun positions, presentation and holstering from concealment, malfunction and dry-fire drills.
Real-World 360º Application
Building upon the fundamentals of Tactical Handgun I &II, Dry-Fire Tactical Handgun III literally "moves" to running and gunning principles, team movement, bounding and overwatch, cross-covering, doorway entry... all of it culminating with a little "stress inoculation" as you apply searching techniques and active-shooter response scenarios.
Individual Competency in a Team Environment
With a high instructor to student ratio we can focus on developing a student's individual competency with their weapon system in a dry-fire classroom setting before hitting the range. Whether you are new to defensive handgun tactics or highly trained, you'll put in the hard work as we run students through repetitions to build confidence as we share industry best practices. This allows us to address safety considerations in a controlled environment without the pressure of a bubba shooting rapid-fire next to you in a loud indoor range. Experience has shown it's a game-changer, as competency translates to hits when we move to live-fire training.
